Recall 26V349000: ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC, equipment adaptive/mobility:wheelchair restraints/securement:critical fasteners

Problem

ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC) is recalling certain 2025 Spirit of Equess, 2026 Spirit of Freedom, Spirit of Independence, and Spirit of Mobility transit buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Risk

An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 25, 2026. Owners may contact ARBOC customer service at 1-866-953-5555.
