Recall 26V275000: Nova Bus (US) Inc., electrical system:propulsion system:hybrid management:power control unit/module (hpcu)

Problem
Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2025 LFS transit buses. The telemetry control unit installed in parallel with the vehicle monitoring system may cause a data overload.
Risk
An overloaded control unit may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Nova Bus will modify the connection configuration and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR5882. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 29, 2026.
