The harness intended to prevent Altec installed lighting from overloading the chassis lighting circuit was not installed, which may result in a loss of power to the body lighting or trailer lights.","consequence":"Loss of body lighting or trailer lights increases the risk of a crash.","remedy":"Altec will notify owners to inspect their vehicle for the harness. If the harness is missing, a repair kit will be provided, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832.
